Common Admission Test, a national level entrance examination for Management is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) every year. It is one of the toughest exams in the country.CAT scores are used for admission at various management institutes / courses / programs across the country.
CAT 2019 was conducted on 4th December 2019.
Key facts about CAT 2019-
Ø CAT 2019 was held on a single day and in two-sessions
Ø Candidates had to attempt 100 questions in 180 minutes. There were no changes in CAT 2019 exam pattern.
Ø It was conducted across 138 cities
Ø Candidates were given 180 minutes, each section was given 60 minutes.
Ø Candidates had no option to choose any section to start with/ switch from one section to other.
Ø Candidates had to follow the chronologically, from section one to three.

CAT 2019 was purely dominated by male candidates. 20 candidates scored 100 percentile, and surprisingly all were male and amazingly all were Engineers. In 2015, 18 candidates scored 100 percentile which included 1 female candidate. There were many non engineers and female candidates who have 100 percentile in sectionals. The result of CAT 2019 will decide the future of approximately 1.90 lakh students.
